'Grá mo Chroí' (Love of my heart)

In the stillness of the night i sing to you a lullaby sweet grá mo chroí.

This softly needle felted figure of a woman holding her baby in a sling has been made using an organic wool core and a blend of pastel pink and cream shades for her dress, using fine merino wool. She carries her baby in a colourful sling made of soft velvet.

She wears a turquoise hairband with a deep pink flower in her beautiful golden blonde hair, which has been created using a mix of fine merino wool and viscose.

This special piece comes fitted to a wood slice made from natural pine and treated with a shellac protection. She would make a perfect gift for any mother, godmother, auntie, grandmother etc.
