'Biddy', named after Biddy Early, The wise woman of Clare. One of Ireland's famous witches famed for her reputation as a herbalist, healer or white witch.
Here Biddy is busy collecting herbs in a little acorn cap to make her next batch of healing balms.
She stands on a wooden slice made of natural pine and treated with a shellac protection. She is made from a wire armature covered with a mix of carded and merino wool.
Her dress comes with a copper wire spiral attached, symbolising growth and lifes cycles used in witchcraft rituals for personal transformation. She holds her broom proudly adorned with a red jasper stone which is celebrated for its grounding energy and nurturing warmth.
Biddy would be sure to add a bit of magic to your home!
